Monster Hunter World News: 25 Dec 18

I wanna start things off with a Merry Christmas to everyone! I hope you guys had an enjoyable Christmas. I also wanna say how I was right about last week's news, the day after I posted last week's news, Arch Tempered Teostra was announced for PC! This boy gives the Teostra Y armor, which many consider to be a healthy alternative to those of you unable to get drachen, as well as Dante Layered armor, allowing you to look like Dante wherever you hunt. At the same time as AT Teostra, the second wave of Kulve Taroth weapons is being added. A lot of the 2nd Wave weapons are extremely strong, so I would recommend checking out Kulve this time around. https://steamcommunity.com/games/582010/announcements/detail/1698319070809028416 Next is EXTREMELY big news for console. So, on the Events schedule for console, a secret quest has been added, and it lands on the 1st of January. Well, this quest was recently datamined, and holds big things: an Assassin's Creed collab. This collab features some things from the first Assassin's Creed game (which I've heard is called Origins now or something? It feature's Altiar's stuff). First off, a new mantle has been found, the Assassin's Hood, which is like an upgraded Gillie Mantle: it gives you a speed boost while also keeping you hidden. At first I thought this was new armor, but it's just what the hood looks like. Cool stuff There's also a new guild card background, which features a scarab (I've only played Black Flags, and it's been like 10 years since I've watched my friend played the first 3 AC games, sorry I dont know much AC stuff). This here also seems to be new layered armor (and more than likely normal armor too). So that's it for news this week. Kulve Wave 2, AT Teo coming to PC, and Assassin's Creed stuff. Even tho the AC stuff was datamined by HexHexHex, the guy whos datamined everything else, I'm still skeptical of the AC stuff due to no footage being shown (unless it just doesnt work yet). We'll find out in like a week.
